The Marine Science Institute is pleased to offer the following Birthday Party Programs that are available Monday through Saturday throughout the year.
The child celebrating his/her birthday gets an MSI T-Shirt.
Members receive a 10% discount on the price of the Birthday Party program.
Two staff members will be on site to greet you and lead the birthday party program.
Rustic indoor and outdoor space is available to set up the birthday cake, presents, games and other birthday activities. All activities outside of the specified program are the sole responsibility of the booking party.
MSI asks that all visitors pack out any trash that is brought to our facilities.
Adult assistance is needed for any program to help focus the children on the program.

We can meet you at another location for your party, like local park
This program is appropriate for children ages 5 and older and can accommodate up to 30 participants (adults not included). The cost of the program is $390plus $1/mile roundtrip travel fee for destinations outside of Redwood City.The total length of the program is 1 hour.
This program is a hands-on, up-close look at animals that live in local tidepools!
Party participants will spend an exciting hour learning about the different fish and invertebrates that inhabit the tidepools and why these animals are special!
We will bring 8 – 12 different species, including sea stars, crabs, anemones and more!

This program is a great way to get a close look at the fish and sharks that live right here in San Francisco Bay!
You’ll spend an hour learning about what it means to be a fish or a shark, and will get a chance to see and touch these wonderful creatures!
